VVVVID doesn't work

Post by ItachiSan »

As in title.

Theorically, allowing

Code: Select all

vvvvid.it
as trusted website should work properly.

Still, it does not work.
When disabling NoScript, everything work flawlessly.

I made a clean Firefox profile to test it and it doesn't work.
So it is tested on latest Firefox, latest stable NoScript without any other extension.
I will provide as much information as you need, just ask ahead!

In whay way(s) exactly does it not work?

In the clean profile, did you try Allow Scripts Globally?

If so, when this issue occurs, do you see anything related in the Browser Console? (Ctrl-Shift-J)
(if you don't know what's related, turn off CSS warnings and post everything else you see)
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!

So,
  • with NoScript the page says I've AdBlock enabled.
  • without NoScript the page loads properly (all UI elements and the videos)

Allowing scripts globally unbreaks the page.
As soon as I enable it again, it is broken.

There are many SyntaxError and ReferenceError, but nothing that really gets my eyes.

Seems working now...
Was hard to isolate the allowed websites; unluckily, had to allow some ad-server websites.
The list is:
  • vvvvid.it <- main website
  • smartclip.net
  • mperience.net
  • adform.net
  • dotandat.com
  • imasdk.googleapis.com
If anyone recognizes a website of this list as bad, please report it here.
Thank you.
