Post by base2jump »

i have used noscript for sometime, recently fdirefox did an automatic update and after which it kept crashing, i disabled add-ons and allowed one by one
NoScript is the one that causes firefox to continually crash
i have done sevral fresh installs of firefox and then added Noscript and it still crashes
anyone have an ideas???? PLEASE!!

Funny I had some crashes also in firefox the last days, dunno if it is related to noscript, I just installed the latest noscript version today so will see if it stays more stable.

Please go to about:crashes and post here the submitted crash report URLs (they'll be the links starting with "bp-", if they don't click to submit them)

There was only one link starting with bp - I clicked on that one and it generated a report, here is the link for that report:
https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/ ... 8322150515

I hope this is the link you need, if not let me know :)

PS. no crashes yet since updating to latest noscript, will keep an eye.

The board mangled your URL.
You need to place it in tags.

Code: Select all

http://www.example.com
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.19) Gecko/20110420 SeaMonkey/2.0.14 Pinball NoScript FlashGot AdblockPlus

Sorry I just noticed this now, I havent had any crashes since and firefox has also updated to a newer version since then so all seems good. I will post a new report if the crashes comes back again.

Cheers.

@Sall: Thanks for telling us that.
(If it seems to stay fixed after the Fx update, sounds like you probably hit a variant of viewtopic.php?f=7&t=20818 )
