Site in NS list cannot be selected

Post by Guest »

I cannot change the property of a particular site in the NS list. The site in question is:

reachlocal.net]

Notice the square bracket at the end of the URL. No matter what I try, right click, middle click, shift-right click on either the Allow or Temporarilly allow selection for this site nothing happens. This site is listed in under "https://www.ent.com" and is for the Credit Union where I do my banking. I'm using Firefox (version 34.0.5) on a linux build, but I've checked it on Firefox (version 33.1) on a Windows 7 Home Premium machine with the same results. It doesn't seem to causing a problem for me using the site (because anything the site tries to start is blocked until I specifically give it permission, right?) when I login, but I'm letting you know of it just in case you might be interested in why the NS software doesn't seem to be able to control it.

Code: Select all

<script type="text/javascript" src="https://rtsys.reachlocal.net[rtsys.reachlocal.net]/rct_lct/js/rlrct1.js"></script>
That's not even a valid URL, the error is on their end.
Looks like that script was meant to point to https://rtsys.reachlocal.net/rct_lct/js/rlrct1.js.
I suggest you contact your credit union's webmaster(s), point them to this thread, and let them know the error. If you do, please let us know their response (or if they fix it without responding).

Now I don't know if their error has exposed a NoScript bug (or if NoScript not working properly in that situation counts as a bug)?
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!

I'm guessing that they copied and pasted a URL from a Microsoft product of some kind :S

Religion is not the opium of the masses. Daily life is the opium of the masses.

True religion, which dares to acknowledge death and challenge the way we live, is an attempt to wake up.
