Latest noscript 2.6.8.21 breaks menu order
Latest noscript 2.6.8.21 breaks menu order
I use Firefox 29.0 with Classic Theme Restorer 1.1.8 and NoScript in the top right corner. Was working fine, but since it updated itself to 2.6.8.21 the menu order is reversed. About is at the top, followed by Options and so on. I gather from searching the net that this may have been done to cater for people who have NoScript at the bottom with the Classic Theme Restorer and Australis. Well, it seems that in doing so you have broken the menu order for those of us who use the above configuration with NoScript at the top. Can you please fix that?

By the way, my OS is Windows 7 (64-bit).

Re: Latest noscript 2.6.8.21 breaks menu order
FYI, I disabled the Classic Theme Restorer and the problem persists. Now I'm really annoyed with Mozilla for foisting the pointless Australis change on people.

FYI, after removing the Classic Theme Restorer altogether, the problem still persists.

Re: Latest noscript 2.6.8.21 breaks menu order
Weird thing. If, with or without Classic Theme Restorer, you right-click on the toolbar and click Customize, then don't change anything but click Exit Customize (bottom green button), NoScript restores the correct menu order for being at the top. But only for that session. Close Firefox, then restart it and the problem re-occurs. I'm hoping, Giorgio, you are reading this forum from time to time and this sheds some light on the problem. It seems like, in catering for the Classic Theme Restorer, you have broken the menu order for everyone who has the NoScript button in the toolbar at the top with Firefox 29 (Windows), regardless of whether they use Classic Theme Restorer or not. I'm therefore guessing I'm not the only one with this problem.

Thank you Giorgio, that has fixed it for me. So quick! Time for a second donation, I think.

Changes in NoScript?
Hello,
I have got a question that anyone can answer any of me here.
I have a feeling if I am not very much mistaken, that there were visual changes in NoScript (yesterday?).
Was the arrangement not previously exactly the opposite?
- Say, "page allow" was at the top and "Settings" at the bottom? Or you can change somewhere?
'm A little confused. : -?
Greetings
Caracho

me too! thanks giorgioXYZ wrote:Time for a second donation, I think
incidentally, i reverted back to using FF 24.5 ESR.. i tried FF 29 and i, pretty much, got it back to normal, but, still, its GUI was annoying, to me, so i dumped it.. then i installed "pale moon" and used if for a day or two.. then i decided to give FF 29 another try, but, when i was getting ready to install it, i decided not to, and installed FF 24.5 ESR, instead.. i am hoping that, in the future, there will be tweaks for restoring FF to normal, meaning removing the stupid, unnecessary "hamburger" menu-button and restoring the normal toolbar-customization feature.. i am thinking that won't be hard to do, not for people who know how to mess with FF's GUI..

Re: Changes in NoScript?
i don't know about on your computer, but, on my computer, i always have the "noscript" button in the "status"-bar, at the bottom of my screen, and noscript's "options" (settings) was always at the top, with "allow webpage" at the bottom..Caracho wrote:I have a feeling that there were some visual changes in NoScript, yesterday, say "page allow" was at the top and "Settings" at the bottom?

With FF 29, I lost the status bar at the bottom, and the NS icon (and one or two others) is now missing entirely. Help!
