Playing videos on youtube.com using Flash Player and Firefox

Hello,

I'm using the Flash Player 10 (about:plugins says it's Shockwave Flash 10.0 r22 ) Add-On with Mozilla Firefox 3.0.7 unter Ubuntu GNU/Linux 8.04.

Today, I've updated noscript to the latest version, "V. 1.9.1.4 - Your Friendly Web Cop". Since then, I cannot watch videos on youtube.

Ytimg.com and youtoube.com were both unblocked, and youtube worked fine before the upgrade.

Deactivating noscript globally did not help. However, uninstalling noscript did help.

I strongly suspect noscript V. 1.9.1.4 to have a problem. Could anybody confirm this, please ?

Can you post error console log for this? I am not experiencing this issue and it might help narrow down the problem a bit.

I still use Fx2, so might be different. I installed the NS update and went to YT. I have *always* received a NS block logo on the individual video, which I then click "temporarily allow". It then plays fine, and just did now. Do you see such a NS logo in the upper left of the page? If so, click on it and see if it works.
My Flash plugin is the same as yours, but running on Win. Perhaps it is a problem specific to Ubuntu?

Could you try using NoScript Options|Reset and checking if you've got latest Flash player?

I already had the latest Flash Player version (10.0 r22) for Linux. After I reinstalled noscript and reset all options, everything works fine. So probably I've had some options set in a bad way.
