If you have your setting to automatically reload affected pages, then when you globally allow, all tabs are reloaded per that setting. If you don't want to happen, then you need to uncheck that, go to NoScript Options|General tab|uncheck the automatically reload

It is likely this Preference item that you want to toggle (to false), noscript.autoReload.allTabs.
FAQ 5.2 Q: When I change permissions, all the affected tabs/windows are reloaded, and sometimes this is annoying. I know I could turn off automatic reloading from NoScript Options|General, but can I disable it for background tabs/windows but keep it for the current tab only?
(PS: Looks like you cannot have a newline in a [ URL ] tag?)

Thanks for that, it makes sense but I was under the impression that the setting referenced handles that item, wouldn't his concern be more related to noscript.autoReload.allTabsOnGlobal? Just wondering, either way you are probably right and I will make a mental note, thanks for the correction.therube wrote:It is likely this Preference item that you want to toggle (to false), noscript.autoReload.allTabs.

Was there a recent change that altered the default settings? I swear that I didn't use to get every tab reloading until a couple updates ago.
