(OK or should I say okay ;-), what language are we speaking here? NS, NY, JS, ABE, OK, IP, DC, CS, RP, ABO, HOSTS, xfr... Did I miss any?)

You should (ABE is more reliable than ABO), but you're not required to delete the previous rules.

Yes, it's redundant. However you can set ABE rules (and port them across multiple synchronized PCs) even when you can't modify your hosts file (i.e. if you've got no admin privileges).

Is there an ABE for dummies type instructions anywhere? I have been asked a flood of questions already and would love to be able to just point them there to read it first and THEN come back if they still have a question. Ideas?

Giorgio has said elsewhere that he's working on full documentation, and then on a FAQ. Of course, we're all looking forward to it when he finds the time.
