[RESOLVED] Issues with Noscript since few Days

Post by Ordem »

Hello everyone!
First of all, i need to excuse me for my english.
It isn't the best, so i'll try my best to explain my Problem.

(Extra Infos so far. I deinstalled and reinstalled Noscript, i also used the Reset settings but nothing worked so far)
For some reason (I disabled/deactivated Noscript via Firefox Addon Tab a few Days ago (just stop Noscript from blocking scripts)
But since then i have really big issues with Noscript.
The Positiv-list (for allowed sites and scripts) get reseted everytime i restart Firefox
(The list if full with exceptions which sites are allowed to run script) (If i set them back, to orginal config "reset button" everything is fine aslong i don't restart firefox! When i restart firefox the list + every setting is set back to the previous state before i hit the reset button. And this happens everytime)
So my actual problem is, that Noscript doesn't save anymore the Settings i've made
(example i allowed Devianart.com/net, for the Session it works. But if i close and reopen Firefox it is again blocked. And it don't get added to the Allowed list.)
So overall i need to allow it everytime again when i try to access it.
But exceptions i've made months ago are still working. But as example if i try to block them, it just works for the session! When i closed/reopend firefox again, it set to the previous state (in this case allowed again)
And no i didn't pressed the tab allow the temporally.
I choosed the tab to be it permanent.
But for some reason the Settings doesn't get saved anymore.
Every exceptions and settings get resetted to the previous state like i never changed something. But only when Firefox get closed/reopend.

Does someone have any clue what it could be?
Deinstalling and reinstalling didn't help. It always sets back the settings to the state how it was before.
+ the Noscript site get's opened everytime when i start Firefox. Like i just had updated Noscript.
But this isn't the case.

PS I'm using the standard settings of Noscript.
But like told before example positivlist has a ammount of 200~ Links allowed.
When i reset it, it have a link ammount of 50~
As long i don't restart firefox it stays on 50~
But when i restart firefox ( even after deinstalling and reinstalling Noscript)
The Link ammount is set again to 200~

Edit: Other addons i'm using are ghostery and adblock. But i had never problems with these constellation of addons + noscript

Do changes to Firefox settings persist? For example, go to about:config and double-click the entry "accessibility.blockautorefresh" to toggle it. Does that change stick?

Do you have a user.js file?

I assume you're changing NoScript settings through its GUI. If you change it from about:config, does it stick?

(I suggest you test on noscript.firstRunRedirection)

i found a user.js under C:\Users\Jaime1\AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\00r77w7o.default

Yes i always used the GUI of Noscript.

I tried about:config, it does stick if i make changes there.
In this case noscript.firstRunRedirection (default = true , i changed to false and it sticked after restarting. Also the Noscript tab "which happens when you updated NoScript, didn't showed up" but after changing it again back to true the same happend again :( popping up noscript tab (news site)

If you completely quit Firefox, then move your user.js somewhere else, does the issue still occur?
