Re: Mozilla Firefox 89.0 not working with NoScript
Sorry I can't quite tell from your writing: Are you seeking help fixing the issue, or are you just letting us know that you removed NoScript?

Re: Mozilla Firefox 89.0 not working with NoScript
Great, that's what we're here for
What NoScript version?
What Firefox version did you have before where it worked?
As test:
Does this issue also occur in a new, clean, separate Firefox 89 profile with only NoScript latest development build installed and all default settings? If not, can you please try exporting your entire NoScript config from your main profile and importing it into the new profile?

Re: Mozilla Firefox 89.0 not working with NoScript
Is it only specific sites, or literally all sites (including this forum)? If it's only specific sites, could you please share an example link or two?
Do you have any security software running that maybe got updated and started interfering with NoScript/Firefox?

Sure. I replaced the mistake text with your corrected follow-up.Andreas wrote: ↑Mon Jun 14, 2021 6:36 pm Sorry for my mistake can u fix it?
I can't access either of those sites at all due to non-NoScript-related blocking filters on my end. Hopefully someone else can check it..
Regarding security software, you mentioned some DNS related stuff. I don't know if this would make any difference or not, but could you ensure those are all configured to immediately return NXDOMAIN for all *.invalid domains?
(NoScript uses the fake domain "noscript-csp.invalid" for internal reporting because any *.invalid domain is guaranteed by specification not to exist on the Internet. However we've had some threads where someone's DNS software doesn't know this by default and thus tries to look up this nonexistant domain anyway.)
Also what happens if you manually try to connect to
Code: Select all

Re: Mozilla Firefox 89.0 not working with NoScript
its so importan Add-on and I hope to find some way to fix this Anti-NoScript blocking filters..
Regarding security software, you mentioned some DNS...........return NXDOMAIN for all *.invalid domains?
I am 100% possitive all invalid domains return to Nxdomain.
Also what happens if you manually try to connect to
Code: Select all
https://255.255.255.255
Unable to connect
Firefox can’t establish a connection to the server at 255.255.255.255.
The site could be temporarily unavailable or too busy. Try again in a few moments.
If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer’s network connection.
If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

Re: Mozilla Firefox 89.0 not working with NoScript
Looks fine here.
Disable all other extensions except for NoScript & test.
If that doesn't work, then as a test, create a new, clean Profile, install only NoScript & test.
(89 is one horrid beast.
If I were to use it, I'd have to go about figuring out how to customize it to make it usable for me.
What morons! JC if I wanted something to look like Windozzze 10, I would use Windozzze 10.)

Re: Mozilla Firefox 89.0 not working with NoScript
o.k. ...
disable all Add-ons dont help ....
make a full new profile help ... noScript work then ....
have seen even the config page of noScript in add-ons tab is not loading on my profile and 89.x FF ....
So i think a good start woulde be to full reset noScript on my actual profile (dont like the idea to start with an "full" fresh profile ....)
But i dont know how to doing this, if even the config page with the reset option dont work ..........

... same problem - so it was not the settings ....
have this "combo" (Firefox + NoScript + the most other addOns) running on 3 Windows PCs ... my Main Lenovo workstation - an second PC for my girlfriend - new asembled this year - and an MS surface Pro 5 .. all Win 10 .... only on my main PC it make problems ...
mmh .... maybe my main PC have an older version of Win10 (cant upgrade - always fail, was an Win 7 > Win 10 change .. only solution would be to fresh install Win10 from scratch - thats to much workload ... will doing this on an new workstation ..) - but can this be the problem here ??
Have maked an video to show the situation with reseted NoScript settings on 89.0.1 ...
