The Hammer has fallen now

Over the last few days, all but one of my Firefox-ESR instances have auto-updated to version 60. On all of those, Flashgot has been move to the "legacy apps" category and does not run any more.

This box is the only one where, for the time being, I have disabled auto update - but that can only be a very temporary measure.

So, what now?

Is Flashgot dead for good?

FlashGot is not a webextension, so will not work in Quantum.

The intention is to get something working.
Time-frame, & features, that's a different matter.

If single purpose, disable updates & revert (assuming you're OK with the risks) to 52 ESR (hopefully from a backup made ahead of the upgrade) [or some other browser].

At this point I don't think it'll ever happen. The dev promised an update last year, NoScript is the priority and it's still being refined even after being released onto Quantum.

Quite sad given FlashGot was the superior Add on.

You could always switch to something like Pale Moon browser. AFAIK they have no intention of moving to WebExtension add-ons.
