Post by Volu »

Hi there!

At homepage download section, linking is bad.
https://flashgot.net/getit

Text says: direct download link for FlashGot 10.1.6.2 but actual link is point to noscript, as well as scrolling down the page is the noscript version of the site, can you check it?
Thanks in advance!

Actually...

If You want to (properly) Fix it, You should (probably) point it towards Version 1.5.6.14.
(It's Currently Linking to Version 1.5.6.13...)

(don't know if that matters much (not as important) but:
Since the Development Version/Beta is older than the release one, maybe "comment out" that part of the Website (or write something else entirely there like "there's no newer Development version yet" or something) until a newer Beta Version (WebExtension?) comes around for proper testing...?...)

By The Way:
Maybe You'd Like to Also Update the

Code: Select all

//flashgot.net/changelog
Changelog[/b] Section to Also include the Changes in the 1.5.6.14 Version...

You'd then have the Site Up-to-Date (/on the same Current Release Version) with the

Code: Select all

//addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/flashgot/
AMO[/b][/i] one...

I always thought it was weird The "Main Site" being delayed in relation with the AMO one...

Sidenote: I think you should "tinker" with the URL filtering system... --> You shouldn't have a limit per post of URLs/Links to Your OWN Projects "Official" WebSites... It makes it difficult to do what I just did -- pointing several related parts/pages of the site that needs updating (FlashGot) or are updated (AMO)...

C Ya L8r then!. ;P
