Just stopping by to voice my support for a version compatible with the latest Firefox. I forgot how much I relied on it until it wasn't available anymore.
Definitely considering making a donation now. The world needs more developers like these guys.
I looked for some alternatives but everything out there lacked functionality and seemed very concerned about collecting personal data.

On alternative until FG is back: the addon works in PaleMoon and Firefox ESR. As for similar addons that work in Quantum: Videodownloadhelper, Video Download Prime.

looks falshgott want big creedy support cash and not release update, i think they have it,sure.

In fact, Firefox add on site has a version written by Giorgio Maone, which is newer than the one in his web site. The latest update was on March 2017. to version 1.5.6.14 . So perhaps there is a chance he will update Flashgot to a version that supports Webext. (and thus Firefox Quantum). My problem is that Giorgio is quiet. I have no idea whether he is going to update it or not. Someone said that he was involved in the development of Webextensions (the new format for add ons), and he did update his other add on (Noscript) to support it.
