I tried to download http://video.eda.ru/index/player?record_id=241830, but FlashGot doesn't seem to work.

No, FlashGot does not see it.

Not sure what to tell you other then to throw a "sniffer" at it.

URL Snooper sees both the .m3u8 file & the individual .ts files.
m3u8 you can throw directly to FFmpeg to download in one swoop.
The individual .ts files you would need to capture each one then MUX together after the fact.
Various bitrates are available.

Code: Select all

You might find that some will work & others not, not sure.

Each .ts contains a small segment of the entire clip.

The m3u8, you then have to parse down, a bit, & then can use FFmpeg to capture the clip.

Code: Select all

ffmpeg -i http://hlsvod.rambler.eaglecdn.com/eda/20150508/f2e10fa6cf8a5_video_360p.mp4/index.m3u8?st=EjMVkREJrftB5UP4UgZX4w -c copy out.ts
(Actually looks like the ?st=.... is going to be immaterial, so you could just go with, something like http://hlsvod.rambler.eaglecdn.com/eda/ ... index.m3u8.)

In both cases, the .ts can easily, quickly be thrown into an .mp4 (or some other) container.

Code: Select all

ffmpeg -i out.s -c copy out.mp4
