flashgot multi media not working.

I installed 1.5.6.12 flashgot. I set both download manager as default (firefox). I can download file, but the file is bad. It does not play. please help

From flashgot. When i go on youtube, I can see all the available format. When i choose one of the video to download. The downloaded video is bad, does not play.

Which one did you choose?

What was the size of the "video" you ended up with?

KMplayer, older version. 3.4.059
I have used earlier version of flashgot, but no issue with this setup. Recently I reset my firefox and DL new version. Thank you for your help

Hmm...
The last version I have "says", kmp_294.1438 (KMPlayer).exe, yet when I run it, it says, 3.0.0.1438.
In any case, that clip does not work in my KMPlayer either.
The clip, 24,844,945 bytes, even though it is an mp4, is also "dash", & I (know) that my KMPlayer (circa 2010) knows nothing of dash, & I suspect that neither does yours.
So use a different (current) player that does.
BTW, that 24 MB clip is the video only, no audio.
The audio is that separate 3 MB piece.
Or you could get an already combined clip, like the 17 MB mp4.
(And that one isn't going to be dash, I don't believe, , & so might play in your player.)

Yes, the 17 MB video works. But the problem it was in 360P instead of 480p I wanted. I remember the old version all I need to do is download the largest file, and it works.

Well the issue isn't FlashGot, but the player you're using can't handle the file you've downloaded.
PS: Many times "HD" or "720" or "480" are only (slightly) more then wishful thinking - compared to some "lessor" quality clip.
