FlashGot no longer detects videos on any page, and upon investigation I found that I could not access the "More Options" menu. Clicking it gives me the following window, and clicking uninstall does nothing (not even close the window).
I've tried reinstalling both the FlashGot extension and the latest version of Mozilla Firefox. What can be done about this?

Have you tried uninstalling from Tools-Addons?

Yes, I uninstalled from Tools-Addons, as that is the only way I know how.Thrawn wrote:Have you tried uninstalling from Tools-Addons?

Perhaps something has gone very wrong with your profile...you may need to try making a new one, installing FlashGot there, and seeing if the problem persists.

Disable all extensions except for FlashGot & see if that changes anything?
Disable all extensions except for FlashGot, & all Plugins, & see if that changes anything?
If still, no, then install FlashGot again & test again (having already disabled all other extensions & Plugins).
Still no, then try the Profile trick.

Same problem for me too. Am running FF 37.0.2 and FlashGot 1.5.6.12 isn't detecting Youtube videos. Wonder if the secure URL (https) has anything to do with it.

Re: "More Options" button broken and can't detect videos
After flashgot stopped working for me (not finding videos and even "more options" was broken) I found that the cause for me was a conflict with another addon - the Menu Wizard addon - an addon which helps removing, moving and renaming menus and menu items.
If like me you have the Menu Wizard addon (or maybe the Menu editor addon) :
I found a solution to this conflict and have just posted a solution in a new thread I've opened here in the support forum - viewtopic.php?f=6&t=20772&p=75770#p75770

Thanks for the suggestion but I don't have the Menu Wizard addon and have neither added nor updated any addons recently.LL25255252 wrote:After flashgot stopped working for me (not finding videos and even "more options" was broken) I found that the cause for me was a conflict with another addon - the Menu Wizard addon - an addon which helps removing, moving and renaming menus and menu items.
