problem with gmail attachments

Dear friends,
I am using flashgot 1.1.8.7 via firefox 3.0.0.10
I'm having problem downloading attachments from gmail, when i select idm(internet download manager) as download engine a window appears and then disappears and nothing happens so I cant download the attachments.
if I select browser built in , download starts with firefox download manager but the name of attachment changes to "mail" without any extensions
I think this problem appears after some version of flashgot has been updated but I don't know which version.
