Happy to see that the new NS is available and working fine for the new FF 57. Appears to be working fine here.
Only problem I see is that the white-list page is not keeping sites that I add to it. But the old version did not even have a white-list so no big deal yet. I am hopeful that it will be working soon and this will be a great improvement. Thank you so much sir. Very very much appreciated.

Are you certain that NoScript is functional? Tested on two devices and it's as if NoScript isn't installed - nothing gets blocked. The UI is also half responsive.
These comments indicate that it's simply not ready:
I've just tried it on android, and it is NOT blocking the scripts. I opened a youtube video, set everything to UNTRUSTED, and the video played anyways...

@Francesco: NoScript 10.1.1 is not tested on Android and is very unlikely to work on it without more tweaks, since the API there is even more limited. But it's definitely a target for 58.

If that's the case the addon should be marked incompatible with mobile until this is resolved. Unless you check your assumption will be that NoScript protects you by default.

Hmm. Odd, because it appears to be blocking some ads on sites. I'll do some more playing around and see what it does.

OK, did some tests and it's really weird. It does seem to be doing something because I looked at the same page in Chrome (no NS obviously) and FF (with NS) and there was definitely a difference. But it does appear to be allowing a lot of stuff. So I guess that overall there is no NS for FF android version yet.

at least one that works and is fully functional.

Yes, i have the same problem.
On PC using W10 and FF57 x64 with NS 10.1.2, scripts get blocked normally.
On android 7 with FF57 and NSA 10.1.2, scripts run regardless of NSA.

If i go to
https://www.whatismybrowser.com/detect/ ... pt-enabled it says "Is JavaScript Enabled? NO"
If i do the same on Android, it says "YES". All domais of the site are default blocked or untrusted on NS interface.
-> Noscript is not blocking on FF Android.

(*removed post in wrong topic*)
BTW AFAIK WebExtensions are now compatible with Firefox 57 for Android, so you should be able to install the "official" "NoScript" addon via AMO or so.

NS 10.1.1 "worked" for me in Android FF57. Unfortunately NS 10.1.2 and above don't work anymore. Settings are not retained and most of the time nothing is loaded w.r.t. websites requiring permissions. I guess we'll have to wait it out till FF58 as per Giorgio's statement that it will be a target by then.

Now this can be read:
This add-on is not available on your platform.
if i try to install it on my Android 7 tablet.
Whats going on? Why no developer reply in this thread. Will there be a version for FF on Android? I need an answer.

I gave up and went back to FF 56 and NS 3 for android.
Works flawlessly and I'll just wait until the finished product comes out for both.

FWIW I tried 58b w/ 10.1.5.5. No luck as the customization ui / popup is empty. This (moz-extension://9782834d-e5ec-455c-84bd-038aee65d1f4/ui/popup.html) just shows some header icons but nothing to configure
I think Giorgio mentioned this behaviour on android in his blog somewhere. my production browser is still 56 with 'old' nsa
Btw, see #7

Good to know he uses it too

So we know if he can he'll fix it sooner rather than later.
End of the week from that post is almost here so I am holding out hope. Thanks for that info.
