NoScript breaks links opened in new tabs

I've been dealing with an issue in Firefox where links opened in new tabs (mine were opened from Google News) don't load. All I would see is the URL (not page title) in the location bar and an all black page.

Steps to reproduce:
  1. Go to http://news.google.com.
  2. Open a news link in a new tab.
  3. Switch to the tab.
At that point, is the tab loading? In my tests, on an Intel device, I get the behavior described above. I tried with Firefox 26 Beta, Firefox 26 Release, and today's Firefox nightly. This also seems to affect links loaded from external shortcuts. See Bug 940158. I was talking with ckitching on IRC. When asked what could be going on, he posted this.
[18:10]—<ckitching>—Perhaps it's deleting a script that's actually part of the browser...

Works for me. Is google.com trusted?

I trust google.com sites that aren't ad related. Those that are related to ads get blocked.

Is this desktop & "android" (mobile) or only one or the other?

(Oh, I guess Mobile. I've never paid any attention to what forum I'm in.)
