Uniblue scam

Post by annieoakley »

I renewed my Uniblue SpeedUpMyComputer, they gave me a new serial number, I copied it into the proper field, and their system wouldn't accept the serial number.

I called their 800 number and they told me they would have to share my computer screen in order for them to activate my renewal. I said I would not share my screen with them, I would cancel my credit card payment. They said that's fine.

I thought you ought to know this, since you advertise their service.

P.S. I tried to contact their customer service and it is a closed loop. Sounds like a scam to me.

I think you should be private mesaging Giorgio about this.

This definitely doesn't belong in NoScript General and we don't really have a section for this type of stuff, so moving to Ragnarök.
