Lately Policeman is the addon I recommend to Firefox users for request blocking, as long as they run a recent enough version of both Fx and Policeman. Some reading material for you: viewtopic.php?f=19&t=20189yes_noscript wrote:Maybe this addon is then better?:
(But I have no idea if Thrawn & GµårÐïåñ have interest in working with futpib for SABER development, or if futpib is interested in and/or has time for SABER.)

Re: Integrating ABE with RequestPolicy
Thanks for the link, barbaz.
Is Policeman more recommend then RequestPolicy? I use RequestPolicyContinued 1.0.beta9.2 which is a fork and works great. Anyway i didnt try Policeman yet because it isnt compatible with Pale Moon.

Re: Integrating ABE with RequestPolicy
IMO yes, but I am not the right person to talk to about RequestPolicy because it seems like RP would be too annoying for me personally. Thrawn uses it though, he would know more.

Re: Integrating ABE with RequestPolicy
I haven't actually tried Policeman. barbaz mentioned an issue about revealing its presence to pages, but I believe that was fixed in newer versions?
RP's future is a bit uncertain; the original author has pretty much handed it over to a community and moved on.

As I noted in the other thread that's fixed in current version(s) of Policeman if you use non-default configuration.Thrawn wrote:barbaz mentioned an issue about revealing its presence to pages, but I believe that was fixed in newer versions?
I don't know if forecehh ever forwarded that message to futpib or not though.

Re: Integrating ABE with RequestPolicy
There is no mess, both extensions work all fine.barbaz wrote:Given this mess?
Note that at the link you provide there never was any competent technical discussion about technical merits, pretty much only gossipy stuff. I will keep developing these two extensions just fine regardless of this.

Re: off-topic discussion split from t=8059
Thanks for the info.
Actually this whole discussion was way off-topic, and it's not headed back on topic, so splitting and locking, let's not continue to clutter the SABER thread with posts unrelated to SABER.
