Sometimes we create something because we can and plus in the clandestine community often used to cripple enemy systems quickly. Or in some cases, your own system 
Forgot to add, it is nothing new, it has been around for at least 10 years and been in the wild (meaning people have seen it and can build it to spec) since about 4 years ago at least. Kind of surprised it took them this long to talk about it. Must be a slow news week.
