[Resolved] Global Privacy Control

This "do not sell my personal information" spec is not implemented in any mainstream browser (yet?). But apparently several notable privacy extensions are now implementing this. Is it a good idea to use this in an extension yet? Or is it more likely to just add entropy to the browser fingerprint and make user more trackable at this stage?

It's implemented in Firefox 95, but AFAICT it's only available by going into about:config and manually changing multiple prefs there, so I still have the same question.

Yes, I'm quite sure.

Thanks Asphyx, then I think I should wait until there is an actual preferences UI for that before I use it.
