That depends on what level of control you want. uMatrix has its place.

Actually, at least for how I use µMatrix, uBlock Origin probably could replace it in theory. But I prefer µMatrix's UI for some stuff.
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!

uMatrix is much more configurable than uBlock, and its behavior (default deny for most things) is more similar to that of NoScript.
