Mysterious TeamViewer hacking

http://arstechnica.com/security/2016/06/teamviewer-users-are-being-hacked-in-bulk-and-we-still-dont-know-how/ :o
Fortunately for me, I don't use TeamViewer type software. But it's still a pretty scary thought that hackings of this type and scale is potentially the consequences of the recent "extra-big" password hash dumps from major sites unrelated to the breached service:
http://arstechnica.com/security/2016/05/cluster-of-megabreaches-compromise-a-whopping-642-million-passwords/
http://arstechnica.com/security/2016/05/then-there-were-117-million-linkedin-password-breach-much-bigger-than-thought/

I guess we can still hope it's just the usual carelessness, such as users doing stuff like re-using [weak] passwords etc...
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!

The TeamViewer people are so far finding that's exactly the case: http://arstechnica.com/security/2016/06/teamviewer-says-theres-no-evidence-of-2fa-bypass-in-mass-account-hack/
