Simplest way to extract an MP3 or OGG audio from YouTube?

Post by intheflesh »

FlashGot has WEBM audio out but I have not figured out is it a container for what? OGG or M4A/AAC? Either way, simply renaming it to OGG will not make it work in my MP3 player. Which does not play AAC, only MP3 and OGG. There are some web sites that make an MP# from a video for you but I haven't found one which would work with a video almost 3,5 hours long such as this one:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ijnt-eXukwk

Any tips?

Particular clip is OGG.

You could use ffmpeg to (losslessly) extract the .ogg audio.

Or a GUI.
