Irony? Board registration requires J/S ...

Post by bugzillus »

Just a little comment: I assume it weird (and demanding) for a board discussing a script-blocking tool to require JavaScript to register.

Why do I have to allow scripts from (and IP connections + information submission to) Google to tell here about a noscript bug?! Why is a third-party captcha needed to register to this board? There is other options to avoid robot users ...

The google captcha is completely dysdunctional without JavaScript, the jaggy images are simply not readable. And the audio is not understandable in office noise level. Please try by yourself.

1. It is not requiring you to do anything, this is a third party forum software, not build by NS, so whatever makes it work is whatever makes it work.

2. You can disable JS on this forum and it works fine, you don't even have to register to post.

This is how this software works (the board software) and if you don't like it, go complain to them about it.
