Limited User: links to forum in sig?

In the interests of efficiency (mine), I'd like to have a sig with :
"Latest Development Build" link marked up with that title
and
"Troubleshooting 101" title on the
http://forums.informaction.com/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=1431
one

Unfortunately the sig won't get set in the user prefs, and in testing by adding the two links to a post manually, I've been stallowned in the attempt.
Any workaround to give permission to limited users for links in sigs?

Works for me in my limited user test account. I put the following code in my sig.

Code: Select all

Latest Development Build
Troubleshooting 101

Thanks alan - works now.
No clue why not this am. The informaction server is a moody beggar.

I don't think nagan has ever posted from my IP, Steven. (I'm assuming that's not your "Real Name", comrade.)
Sigh. It's not easy being green.

Hey Steven, therube, it's Nan M here. I've moved myself (my own motivation only, I must emphasise) to posting from limited logins because I'm too distracted to work all the mod bells and whistles without falling on my face - and I haven't the time to spend reading all the back-forum stuff to keep current with mod policy etc.
And you would agree that this thread is a very telling addition to the support for that position ;-)

Sorry I didn't think to advertise the change to everybody green; I guess I thought the whole team read every forum post(another reason I felt inadequate - I didn't keep up with the reading in the course ) and I posted in a thread where Alan B acknowledged, so I thought all done and dusted.

I had no need to do a mod login to research ips to work out Alan the Baxter's limited nick, btw.
