Like about 2 months ago. While it worked on my NoScript for a few days it didn't anymore on my clean profile.
That's also why I asked for http://forums.informaction.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=8835 Log for items in status bar. Because once it advanced to the next playlist, one didn't know what tracks were played and how many.

Re: 8tracks.com stopped working
Can you elaborate on the failure? I've never used 8tracks.com; what is the expected and actual behavior?
Good on you for trying a new profile already. Are there any NoScript-related errors or messages in Tools-Error Console?
Which sites appear on the NoScript menu as allowed or blocked?

Re: 8tracks.com stopped working
The failure is that FlashGot doesn't list any media to download.
It's not about NoScript. I just wrote that for some time FlashGot worked with a NoScript profile while it didn't work on a clean profile.
It's not FlashGot's problem. I update manually and it stopped working around 22-06. I was wondering if Giorgio could be bothered to write a fix.

Re: 8tracks.com stopped working
Working here, unless I'm not understanding what your problem is.
FlashGot Media is showing the songs.
If you "Next Mix", the FM list is cleared.
If you "Forward" to the next clip in the existing mix, the FM list is retained.

Re: 8tracks.com stopped working
That's very curious. It works on a fresh profile. I'll investigate later.
edit: Very strange. Once I activate "QuickTime Plug-in 7.6.9" it works. Any clues?
The only extension activated was FlashGot.

Re: 8tracks.com stopped working
In the past, perhaps today too, QuickTime also had "flash" that could be enabled.
Are you doing that perhaps?
If so, even as bad as Macromedia Flash is, I figure it has to be better then what QuickTime provides.

So funny. Ever since yesterday, I checked only today to see if anyone replied, no one did. A few minutes later I check my email account and you replied. Funny.
No, no, I always have Flash enabled. Version: 11.2.202.235. It seems there's a new version.
It's not that it doesn't play, FlashGot doesn't recognise any media if the QuickTime Plug-in is disabled.

Re: 8tracks.com stopped working
Anything relevant noted in Error Console (Ctrl+Shift+J) ?
So is it that FlashGot Media displays no icon (are the context menu items there?) if QuickTime is disabled, at 8tracks.com only, or at all sites, say like http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=217CdX7Z2tM ?
Wonder if FF 3.6.28 might have any bearing?

It works on youtube. It works on gametrailers.com. That's why I was thinking that it must be 8tracks' fault. My clean profile is somewhat clean ie no extensions that could cause incompatibility. AFAI can assess.
That was what i was thinking but it worked fine up until ~2012-06-22. I'll be re-installing the following days since I got problems with Interrupts (PIO/DMA) and it doesn't fix with the usual methods (should have never bought Western Digital. And all bc I wanted to go green ), so I'll install the latest Fx before re-installing and see how many extensions became incompatible.therube wrote:Wonder if FF 3.6.28 might have any bearing?
I'll write once I'll know more. I barely downloaded from there, but I needed to know what's up, just in case I would want to.
