Possible BUG on FlashGot 1.2.8.4

Post by Azetec »

After FlashGot has updated to the latest version 1.2.8.4 I encountered the following BUG:
- if I entered a webpage with Javascript in it or enable the Javascript in a page the download managerJDownloader is self opening

I use Firefox 4 beta 12.

I've found this on version history:
+ Middle click + drag down gesture triggers either
FlashGot Link or FlashGot Selection, depending on
the context (flashgot.gesture preference)
This might be the cause of this problem.
And I use Grab and Drag extension with middle mouse click to drag and scroll the page that might activate the above mentioned feature.
But is there a way to disable this feature ?

But why there is no such thing in the options menu ?
BTW I think this is just another fucked up feature.

So did the change fix things for you?

(I looked after I posted to see if there were a menu item for it. Possibly there will be in the future? Did the release notes make mention of the change after you updated to 1.2.8.4? I don't bother reading them myself, but looking here, http://flashgot.net/, I do see it noted.)

I've just installed the previous version 1.2.8.2 and that fixed the problem.
