Copying Meida URL

Hi.
I was just wondering if you could implement a little feature? Sometimes instead of downloading a video from (eg) YouTube, I wish to copy the actual (lengthy) URL and stream it using another media player. Used to use another program for this, but it's not working any more.

I figured out that I FIRST have to download the video before I can copy the URL from the Download Manager/Library. I was wondering if it would be possible to copy the URL already in the list of available videos/medias detected?

The front page does say "Addresses of media content captured by FlashGot Media can be copied to the clipboard by right-clicking their menu entries (thanks GµårÐïåñ for RFE)." and I thought it meant from that list, but then discovered it meant the Download Manager.

Using Flashgot 1.5.6.13 in Firefox 45.0.1

You can right-click the download in the FF Download Manager & 'Copy Download Link'.

Most other download managers should be able to do similar, even starting the download Paused, while still containing its URL.

You could set up & use a "To FILE" [download manager], viewtopic.php?p=672#p672.

I got that part. What I want to do is copy the URL BEFORE it gets to FF Download Manager. Any chance of such a feature being added?

"To FILE" only sends the URLs to a file (or similar).

If you want to play a video in an external/local player you can easily do that with FlashGot directly without copying the URL: just add the video player into FG as if it were a download manager and then "download" the video with that: it will play the video stream in the video player.

The best players I used for that is MPC-HC in Windows and MPV in Linux. VLC also works.
