I had Developer version 37a2 before. Flashgot worked fine. Now I have installed Developer version 43a2. The context menu items are grayed out except Build Gallery. I tried everything; reinstalling, creating new profile without any addons etc.. Nothing worked. Then I replaced v43 with old v37. I used the exact same profile. The context menu started working again.
I found that the this issue started with Firefox version 38. Something might have changed since Firefox 38 that causes this bug. I hope you will fix this bug, as Flashgot is such a useful extension. I have Windows 8.1 N version 64-bit.

Re: Disabled context menus in Developer version
Do you think your issue is related to Windows "N" (no WMP)?
Have a non-N version to check with?
(First I've heard of anything like this.)
Perhaps ShellExView - Shell Extensions Manager might point out something?

Re: Disabled context menus in Developer version
Thanks for the reply. Currently I don't have non-N version to check. I will try to find one and update this post if that happens.
Did not find any entry related to Flashgot in ShelEXView. The menu entries are there (when I uncheck Hide disabled menu in Flashgot options). They are just not clickable. I saw same issue posted by another user who uses OSX viewtopic.php?f=6&t=20884.
