After updating to 1.5.6.6 flashgot media stopped working for me (linux, firefox 31.1.10, flashgot configured to use curl). The xterm window running curl is not opened at all.
Tested on different websites (youtube, etc). Downgrading to 1.5.6.5 restores correct functionality, so it seems a bug in 1.5.6.6.

Try the development build 1.5.6.7rc1.
