RFE: Enumerate .m3u .f4m

Post by therube »

RFE: Enumerate .m3u .f4v .f4m & other related media objects.

In particular if FlashGot Media does not pick up the actual object itself.

Sample URL: http://www.businessweek.com/videos/2014-06-09/next-big-thing-the-inequality-debate
There is one thing I like about ABP, & that is its ability to enumerate "stuff", to see stuff, often that (FlashGot) does not (display at least).

If FlashGot enumerated it it would avert the need to manually look.
Where to get HLS and HDS playlist/manifest URLs:
0) Look at what FlashGot has to offer you in its media menu - maybe the URLs are already there. If they are, just copy them with the right mouse button.
1) Otherwise open the page source (usually it's Ctrl+U).
2) Search for the string "m3u" without the quotes.

FlashGot Options | Downloads -> File Extensions ==> Add: m3u m3u8 f4m

Will have to see how that works out next time I run into the situation.

Tried 'mnft' at www.dailymotion.com but nothing was picked up.
