FG fails to recognise any downloaders on Aurora or Beta (Mac

Post by COMSAT1 »

Starting with one of the recent Aurora updates (last few days), FlashGot only seems to recognise JDownloader in the set of available download managers (it also lists cURL and pyload, but I don't even know what those are!). I use Folx 3, SpeedDownload, and iGetter, but none of those are recognized. They are, however, recognized in FF 31 (Beta). I tested this in a new profile just to be sure.

In the log file, I am seeing this (among many other managers, but these are installed!):
2014-06-19T02:26:16.892Z Warning: download manager Folx 3 not found
2014-06-19T02:26:16.892Z Warning: download manager iGetter not found

If you need more info (full log file, for instance), I'd be happy to send it along.

This is now a problem on Firefox Beta (FF 32). FG only lists Jdownloader, cURL, PyLoad, and built-in. I don't even have cURL or Pyload installed (in fact, I've never heard of them), but they're always listed anyway....

Okay, I had a look at the log file and this line looks like the one that points to the problem:
2014-07-26T15:52:12.461Z Component returned failure code: 0x80520012 (NS_ERROR_FILE_NOT_FOUND) [nsIFileInputStream.init]

Curl is a command-line tool on Unix-based operating systems. There's a good chance that you actually do have it; I'm not sure. Pyload is listed because it can be operated remotely, so Flashgot never knows whether you actually need it.

Thanks for explaining that. This is still an issue, by the way. The subject of this thread should be FG does not recognize ANY download managers, then. If there's anything I can do to help diagnose this problem, please let me know.

Should be fixed in latest development build 1.5.6.5rc1.
Thanks for your patience!
