RFE: Ability to FlashGot AMO links

(Now that's kind of funny, that FlashGot cannot FlashGot FlashGot from AMO ;-).)

AMO uses a "redirect".
So if you wanted to FlashGot FlashGot, instead of getting FlashGot, you get something like, "addon-flashgot-latest.xpi", which is not FlashGot.

addon-flashgot-latest.xpi:

Code: Select all

HTTP/1.1 302 FOUND
Server: nginx
Date: Sun, 22 Dec 2013 14:33:57 GMT
Content-Type: text/html; charset=utf-8
Transfer-Encoding: chunked
Connection: close
Vary: X-Mobile, User-Agent
X-Frame-Options: DENY
Strict-Transport-Security: max-age=31536000
Location: https://addons.mozilla.org/seamonkey/downloads/file/234131/flashgot_mass_downloader-1.5.5.95-fx+sm+tb.xpi?src=search
X-Backend-Server: web9
It is the "https://addons.mozilla.org/seamonkey/do ... +sm+tb.xpi" that you actually want.

Are you using the built-in download manager or something else?

Hmm.
Some ancient (2.0) version of Orbit brings them down properly.

(And don't forget... Orbit Downloader - Gone Rogue)
