[Fixed] Chrome: Drag to hide icons not working

Post by Biff Meister » Fri Jun 28, 2019 11:08 am

Referencing the ability to hide "Disable restriction globally (dangerous)" and "Disable restrictions for this tab" as described in this post: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=25233&p=98788&hilit ... ons#p98788

I am unable to use this function in when NoScript is installed in Chrome (works fine in Firefox). When NoScript is initially installed in Chrome, the function appears to work. But when Chrome is restarted, the unwanted icons are in their default position, and drag-to-hide is not available.

Any ideas?

BTW, I wouldn't mind keeping "Disable restriction for this tab" visible, if I could rearrange the icons or add some sort of spacer. I've got about a decade of muscle memory on using the old NoScript, and I'll hit the wrong icon if if the newer icons are present.

It's worse than this - even just opening a new tab results in the icons being back in their default positions, the "gravestone" icon showing up but you can't click on it. And I see no way to get back to a working state.

NoScript 10.6.3, Chromium 75.0.3770.90 on Xubuntu 18.04 here.

I suspect this error is related -

Code: Select all

Uncaught ReferenceError: uneval is not defined

Moving thread to NoScript Development. Thanks for the bug report

Giorgio just removed the offending line - https://github.com/hackademix/noscript/ ... 8cdec90f6f

I assume this means this will be fixed in next version of NoScript.

... which is already in the Chrome Store queue waiting for approval. Thank you.
