reverse selection

Post by nzuser » Sun Mar 11, 2018 6:30 am

I am not a power user and I really liked the simple way the older version worked. I never really understood which links? to block but the basic default seemed to keep my screen clean.
On this new version, what if a feature or mode was available to hover the mouse over a portion of the screen and a window would show you which link? was associated with the mouse position. Then by clicking an option, you could set the level to either (ok to view, ok for this session or block permanently). This would allow a non-technical user to go through and tweak the permissions list without having to know too much detail. The items would be remembered for the next time the page was brought up.
If there is a way to do this now, sorry for wasting your time. Maybe you could point me in the direction to find out.
Another option would be to categorize your whitelist? to never use, maybe or ok. Again these comments are from a non-power user.
Thanks for the addon, it's a great feature.

Unfortunately this is not technically possible.
