Missing the "S" on certain web pages

thanks

Once More: Missing the "S" on certain web pages

Post by wenric »

because your anti-spam checker wouldn't let me send my original post - I've boiled it down to this...

Some sites have pop up windows that have their own scripts, but the new version of NS does not include the "S" at the top left corner to manage those scripts.

Can someone please tell us what we should do, or at least let us know that you are aware of this.

Thanks

You can PM what you want to post to an active Mod (me, GµårÐïåñ, therube, or Thrawn) and we'll try to post it for you. PMs to forum staff are not spam-filtered, and the spam filter is more lenient on us.

Here's the abbreviated version of what I was trying to post:
An example of the missing "S" is pretty straight forward. Go to www.thefreepokerroom.com ... click on "Click Here To Play" - It brings up the signon/register page. You can see there is no "S" in the window that pops up. That window has a few new scripts that run. Once logged in, the same window shows you the rooms you can play poker in. When you click on one of those, it opens another window at another website that has more new scripts that need managing. On the old version of NS I was able to select just what was needed for each page. But now there is no "S" at the top left corner. The only way I can play on this and a couple other sites is to turn NS off.

Thanks

Does it help to go to about:config and set dom.disable_window_open_feature.toolbar to true ?

This old thread seems to have become a spam magnet now. Locking.
