[Enh Req] Add a "disable all scipts everywhere" toggle

Post by BeanoFTW »

In a nutshell, it would be cool to have another button added on the top bar of the options UI that (in once click) would toggle between normal operation, and disallowing all scripts and on all sites completely (like a temporary "lockdown" switch) until it's toggled again. There are many times where I trust the site in general, but I just want to turn all scripting off really quick, reload the page, do something, and then turn it back on. A simple button that would *disable all scripting'* would make it so easy to do. And it would be great to have in emergency or troubleshooting situations (like a "panic button"). It would make the add-on that much more powerful and easy for one to quickly protect themselves if a setting is wrong or something is running that shouldn't - and their priority is not from *where it's running*, but making it *stop running*, wherever it's at... :-)

NoScript is a security tool. What security purpose would this serve?

(And Firefox already has about:config > javascript.enabled which should do exactly what you want, no?)
*Always* check the changelogs BEFORE updating that important software!
