Temporarily allow all this page with 10.1.x

Post by jk85711 »

Hi
The new UI is going to take some time to get used to, but functionality equivalent to the previous "temporarily allow all this page" seems to be missing. If feasible, it would be good to get it back - it is very useful for sites one needs to access but for which permanent/ automatic permissions are not appropriate.
thanks.

The functionality is there, you just have to click twice to get it. After clicking the S to make it trusted, click the Clock to make it temporary.

FEATURE REQUEST or OPTION REQUEST: Please make it temporary by default and have the second click make it permanent. Or have an option to choose what the default trusted status is.

Wait, every SINGLE option/script? What if the page has 20 or so? This is NOT useable in anybody's language. Going from one click to how many?

Yeah he means temporarily allow ALL... and that really seems to be missing right now (I miss it too).

Hi. I don't see any clocks in new UI. Can you, please, show me where is it?

UPD: Wait, I think I found it just behind of "ДОВЕРЕННЫЕ" (trusted in Russian) word. I can even click it. Ugly partial translation, don't know how to disable it.

Seems as if this huge piece of functionality was left out just to make the add-on look pretty. Just like the new Firefox; a rubbish add-on for a rubbish browser and will certainly appeal to millenials - the triumph of style over substance and further dumbing down of something that successfully worked because the precious snowflakes are too stupid to read instructions or don't want to do more than 2 mouse clicks.

Uneducated ranting is a great way to make yourself look silly. :P
