Exclude irccloud.com

Post by mcandre »

IRCCloud uses a lot of JavaScript in order to provide its Web-based IRC UI. Could irccloud.com be excluded by default?

Bear in mind, there is no intention to have NoScript default-whitelist every site that needs JavaScript. Yes, lots of sites will be broken by default, and that's OK, you can choose for yourself which ones to un-break vs which ones you simply won't use. You use irccloud, great, you whitelist it. I don't use it, I'll leave it blocked.

The default whitelist is mostly intended for sites that may be needed by complete beginners who might not yet understand how to operate NoScript, and who will need some sites working in order to get help.
