[RESOLVED] alibaba puts itself on whitelist

Post by Sailfisher83 »

hi, using linux with firefox and noscript. I dont understand why, just going to the alibaba website, alibaba puts its self on the noscript whitelist...
Maybe I am doing something wrong. I tested numerous times...
Could you recheck my findings, thanks

Check your settings in NoScript Options > General, make sure both "Temporarily allow top-level site by default" and "Allow sites opened through bookmarks" are both un-checked.

If the problem persists after that, please PM me your full NoScript config and I'll take a look. (Use the Export button *on the very bottom* of NoScript Options, *not* the one unique to the Whitelist panel.)

This https://www.alibaba.com/ ?

Cannot confirm.

Have you checked your whitelist to see if you hadn't Allowed it at some point in the past?

Might you be using a (different) extension that might be "secretly" adding alibaba to your whitelist?

Sorry I was unclear(Sun Tsu), My fault.
What was on the whitelist was: https://localhost.wwbizsrv.alibaba.com:4013 when i restarted firefox
I did it once today, I think the above showed up on the whitelist when the alibaba.com site broke for me. i was at alibaba group also.
appears to be ok now.
My NoScript settings are all default, I dont change anything i dont know. I just delete everthing on the whitelist.
I also use Privacy Badger and Adblock Plus.
Thanks everyone for your quick response.. everything appears ok now
