[Fixed] 5.0.5rc3 is: broken - TypeError: recent is undefined

Post by therube »

5.0.5rc3 https: sites broken - for me, at least.
Might be more then just https:? As now I'm seeing it everywhere.
And it appears that at that point NoScript is entirely broken?
- well, maybe it is working, though broken. might have just been the site i was looking at was not reacting as I'd have expected, & thinking the particular site was broken too.
Possible that once it hits, it stays broken - until browser restart?
- no, even after browser restart
(Not really at a point to test cleanly, but then that's not even the point.)
Possible opening a Private Window played into this?
- no, not particularly.
Could it be that I hadn't looked at the NoScript icon until I saw this?
- suppose that is possible, in which case it might have been broken from the get-go.

Looks like, get-go.

SeaMonkey 2.49.1 x64.
FF 53.0.3 is broken too.

5.0.5rc6

But all in still not right.
<Mc> therube: on some sites i get now about:blank listed. in http://blog.linuxmint.com/ for example
<therube> Mc: i saw that - for a moment, then it disappeared, & shows /linksalpha/ as the "primary" domain. wrongly.
Yep. And on some sites the about:blank does persist & does show as the primary domain - wrongly, https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/downloa ... px?id=9905.

I'm not seeing anything like this. I notice that the console message says "recent", do you guys have recently blocked sites enabled?

EDIT Yep that's it, turning on recently blocked sites results in the same issue here.

Actually, looks like recently blocked sites is not the only trigger. On http://www.autoblog.com/ with all scripts blocked, if I allow the iframe of enable-javascript.com in µMatrix, NoScript thinks enable-javascript.com is the primary domain.

NoScript 5.0.5rc9

NoScript 5.0.5rc9
5.0.5rc12 looks to have fixed this problem here.

@therube: Does 5.0.5rc12 fix it for you too?
