Fx SM dropdown/up menu order unstable

I reported a similar NoScript 2.6.8.21rc1 bug recently and also see the reverse ordered menu from the toolbar icon (using SeaMonkey nightly on Linux).
The statusbar icon menu is actually supposed to have About NoScript at the top so that's not an issue.
Does 2.6.8.20rc3 work correctly for you in SeaMonkey?

(On a side note, it would be nice if the order of NoScript's menu items were controllable through about:config, maybe noscript.menuOrder = 0 for permissions always on bottom, 1 for automatic (current behavior), 2 for permissions always on top?)

Certainly the status bar icon/menu behaviour should have "about" at the top....as far as I can understand, the logic of the menu choices when summoned from mousing/clicking the icon is that the bolded guess at the main domain should be nearest the icon - making for easy prompting for the novice user.

I understand the behaviour has been introduced when working around for those with status bar emulation problems. But it still doesn't let Moz off the hook with the toolbar icon behaviour being so erratic. Devs for such vital extensions should be supported in major UI changes, not apparently forced to scrabble around for workarounds.

And they make it worse by saying stuff like "Australis is just a skin, so you can use add-ons and themes to restore the classic looks." I don't buy that - note
1) SeaMonkey got some patches related to Australis, yet it doesn't look or behave any differently than before.
2) As we know from reading these forums, NONE of the "classic theme restoring" add-ons work as well as the native classic theme did. Which seems to point to some fundamental incompatibility with the old behavior.
Anyway, back on topic...

No worries about delay, I don't have much time for debugging this now either but at a cursory glance, 2.6.8.20rc3 might not be affected so just wanted to ask.

And who could forget the great mess of disappearing icons that MS made with their globally installed self-hiding theme for their Win click-to-pay authority thingy - sorry no time to look it up.

Presumably you mean Windows XP and .NET Framework Assistant? Or are you thinking of something else yet?
