RFE: Inclusion Type Checking settings in UI

Post by womble »

ITC has apparently been responsible for more than one problem with important web pages, including this one. So my suggestion is a simple enhancement like this:

(The above notice appears when ITC is actually blocking something, so we know what's going on)

At the moment, when ITC blocks something, it is completely opaque. No notification, and no UI to easily check settings. Most users won't know to check the console for messages, how to interpret them and how to change ITC behaviour (currently only possible using about:config).

Thanks for posting this.
Without the above suggested enhancement, NoScript will continue to cause a lot of problems for popular sites.
Another one:

Really should be some kind of obvious notice from NoScript for when either
-- all scripts are allowed for a site, or
-- site is in trusted
and it is still blocking something on that page.
