[FIXED] Whitelisted page not whitelisted

Post by barbaz »

NS 2.6.7.1rc2. Going from DuckDuckGo (which is in my whitelist) to a site marked as Untrusted and then back causes NoScript to script-block DuckDuckGo. The script menu contains only
Allow and Temporarily allow "[ https://duckduckgo.com ]". Reloading the page brings everything back to normal. Nothing related shows up in the error console.

The bracket might suggest you have HTTPS always or on Proxy enabled. Is that the case?

I'm using direct connection to the Internet and not forcing HTTPS.

Ok, if you are not forcing HTTPS or proxied, then let's just have Giorgio find out what's going on.

Bump

Still happening on 2.6.8.7rc4. Is this to be fixed soon or is it low-priority/farfuture?

It's to be fixed ASAP, but not the highest priority since it's been this way since almost forever.

Re: [KNOWN] Whitelisted page not whitelisted

Hi,

There is an other way to easily reproduce it I believe. I'm using nightly, and I can reproduce this using google.
I'm login to my google account, the page goes to https.
Then I do some search, and by clicking the links, wait for the page to be loaded then press back button to return to google, I can see that sometimes noscript forgot about google being trusted and displays [https://www.google.com]. If I reload the page, then it's ok.

Hope this help. This bug is a little annoying. I have to open link in new tab to avoid that.
