Do you mean that on a clean profile, with no previous ABE version installed, the directory is created with wrong permissions?
Or that you expect the "fixed" version to retroactively fix permissions and create default rules?
I didn't implement the latter because all these versions were beta "use at your own risk" version, so I deemed the post-install fix to be enough...

I hadn't played with ABE at all until today, when I upgraded from 1.9.3.7 to .9 - - then I didn't read the thread properly.
Just tested now with a clean profile new NS. and 1.9.3.91
There is no permissions bug.
