[Resolved] [BUG] NS breaks Google Play buttons

Post by fred_gaou »

Hi,

Pfff! Sorry, I can post link here to help as it is detected by this damned antispam. Replace by appropriate (h.t.t.p.s/./.) prefix. [done by moderator]

If noscript.surrogate.enabled is TRUE then when visiting for instance https://play.google.com/store/search?q= ... apps&hl=en, the All Ratings drop down menu button (next to All Prices button) won't work.

It seems that it is the same bug as in keep.google.com gives blank page in FF41 with NS 2.6.9.37rc2 topic (can post link either [damned antispam] )

Config (tested in fresh profile):
  • NS 2.6.9.39
  • Firefox 42.0 x64
  • Windows 8.1 x64

It's weird that the spam filter is getting you for that. Would you like us to try to edit the links in your post?

Is this the official Mozilla win64 release or a 3rd-party build?

Thanks.

Thanks to it, I pushed further investigation and discovered that If noscript.surrogate.enabled is TRUE the Write a review in google play store button won't trigger anything. Unless NS options follow these rules:
  • Disable ABE
  • Allow google-analytics.com (if only this option is enabled, the button will trigger - if you reload the page more than one time after clearing cache - but the edit dialog will never load)

Why not with other related direct links. It will speed up tests for others.

The official available @ https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/rel ... 2.0/win64/ link that I can't post because of this damned antispam filter.
