Re: Status bar icon clicking doesn't bring up the menu
Sticky menu has been the norm in this install too - for a while now. I observed it in passing back at least 3 months ago, and noticed that it was sticky only when called via the GUI from either the bottom status bar icon - or yellow NS notification bar "options" button (sorry I can't remem...

Re: Performance degradation anyone?
No change observed in responsiveness or Ff start-up on an XP fast machine, an Ubuntu default on a good average Intel portable with all multimedia extras and this older PPC - - for at least the last month. I could add installed extensions to my signature but I post from 3 different machines with very...

Re: Problem with subscribing to a forum
8-), Alan Baxter - the live feed is satisfying my need for entertainment  And spam-watching btw. I believe I caught the first spammer after you'd zzzzd off. I'm enjoying the extra genuine traffic. It was obviously just waiting to put its hand up. I'm offline for a couple of days now, so y'all ...

Re: Classic Yahoo Mail refreshes continuously
Runs ok here (au.yahoo classic - on Ff 2 and 3) on clean test profiles as well as the ordinary ones, with Yahoo both allowed and forbidden. Yahoo in my experience redirects a lot and the redirections change frequently. Not just for locally tailored content, but for sign-ons and Flickr stuff everywhe...

Re: "Visit site" option
I'm not so sure that a visit to a site is going to be illuminating wrt what evil it may be doing with scripts on another page. After all, that's what the web problems arise from mostly isn't it - - people believing what they see on a web page? Alan Baxter's worry about social engineering is mine too...

Re: Problem with subscribing to a forum
OT Well gentlemen, I declare this forum well and truly open and a roaring success. So much of a success that I am turning off the subscription to save overloading my mailbox. It's great to see the numbers of support requests jump immediately; so many are daunted by the Mozillazine maze - - and I kno...

Re: Problem with subscribing to a forum
Hi Lundholm I finally received a mail. Maybe the siesta timer? :) There are few forum mail links that work without delay. The Mozilla one, for example, is very unpredictable :-) There is one board I read where mails bank up over days. But they have no $$ and their service provider is very cranky. Ni...
