Re: NoScript Not A Signed Add On (Yet)?
My Nightly 42.0a1 (2015-08-05) In about:config xpinstall.signatures.required needs to be false This is still the default for Nightly (means Warn). Correction: on checking again it is also "true" like Aurora (see next). In my many Aurora (Developer Edition) Fx 41.0a2 (2015-08-05) Profiles x...

Re: NoScript Not A Signed Add On (Yet)?
http:// imgmega.com/hjikaf3u282z/Signed_and_Unsigned_add_ons.JPG.html You can't tell from this screenshot if the Extensions are signed. When Mozilla did a 'bulk signing of all Extensions at AMO' they got a new name that ends "-signed", like the "BetterPrivacy 1.68.1-signed" in th...

Re: NoScript Not A Signed Add On (Yet)?
All my Release Candidate (RC) versions of NoScript (on many Profiles) that were installed from addons.mozilla.org (AMO) have been signed by Mozilla since Mon Jul 27, 2015. That is, from NoScript 2.6.9.32rc4 onwards. How do I know? I have Classic Theme Restorer (CRT) on all of the Profiles. There is ...

Re: New Development Build Version 2.6.9.32rc3?
I think it's legit (there is indeed a 2.6.9.32rc3 on AMO) - looks like Giorgio just hasn't uploaded it to secure.informaction.com yet... I thought so too. There is now a 2.6.9.32rc4 on AMO. This is 'signed by Mozilla' (some previous rc builds were not). The feed is now also updated ( https://noscri...

Re: NoScript 2.6.9.30rc4 added wrong item to default whiteli
Giorgio Maone said in another thread: BTW, in case you're wondering, about:pocket-xyz stuff is treated as a dependency of about:blank as a trick to ensure that it doesn't get added if user has been paranoid enough to remove about:blank from his whitelist. Two of my Profiles have 'just the grey items...

Re: NoScript Direction concerning Defaulted Whiltelist Chang
My view on it is something like this: Removals: eh, it's likely a good thing, as long as there's an explanation somewhere out there it's fine (and probably good). I trust Giorgio to know when a domain is bad idea for me to whitelist, but even so I like to know the reasoning behind this stuff. Repla...

Re: Update to NS 2.6.9.28rc2 deleted entries from my whiteli
Profiles that 'had Pocket off' and then had 2.6.9.30rc4 (which added about: packet -save) and then are updated to 2.6.9.30rc5 still have about:pocket-save Profiles that 'had Pocket off' and had 2.6.9.30rc3 (or older) and then were updated to 2.6.9.30rc5 (so 'never had 2.6.9.30rc4') do not have about...

Re: NoScript 2.6.9.30rc4 added wrong item to default whiteli
Background I maintain more than 30 profiles for several Users. Some profiles are only used for 'specific sites' e.g. ONLY for web email, ONLY for Bank. Most profiles are Fx 39.0 I personally browse with Fx 41.0a2 (Developer Edition). All Profiles have NoScript, RequestPolicy Continued and Classic T...

Re: NoScript 2.6.9.30rc4 added wrong item to default whiteli
What is Pocket? tl;dr There used to be an 'external program' / Addon / "Read It Later" that became "Pocket" https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pocket_%28application%29 In Firefox 38.0.5 (2015-06-02) a lot of this was included as part of the Browser: internal to Firefox. https://www.m...

NoScript 2.6.9.30rc4 added wrong item to default whitelist
Giorgio, I think a single character typo has crept into 2.6.9.30rc4 I have updated several Profiles, from AMO, to test this. Recent all builds from noscript.net https://noscript.net/feed?c=200&t=a Includes: NoScript 2.6.9.30rc4 07 July 2015 14:04 + Added about:pocket-save and about:pocket-signup...

Re: [OK] NoScript 2.6.9.29rc1 is downdating to NoScript 2.6.
All working again, thanks Giorgio. 2.6.9.28rc2 is now updating to 2.6.9.30rc1 BOTH 2.6.9.29rc1 and 2.6.9.30rc1 are at AMO. Also, as you said, 2.6.9.30rc1 is not signed by Mozilla. This is easy to see in Nightly and Dev Ed. Classic Theme Restorer 1.3.4beta3 (and newer) has an option to enable showing...

[OK] NoScript 2.6.9.29rc1 is downdating to NoScript 2.6.9.29
Background Using a profile that I had not used for a few weeks. At "about:addons" did a 'check for updates' and, as expected, several Extensions were updated. I had a 'NoScript splash screen', for a new major version of Noscript, tell me that NoScript 2.6.9.28rc2 was NOT the latest versio...

Re: Cannot Watch YouTube Videos With NoScript 2.6.9.26rc1
FYI,
NoScript 2.6.9.26rc3 is now available at AMO, I've updated several Profiles.
A few hours ago, NoScript 2.6.9.26rc2 was NOT at AMO, but I could get it from the Feed:
https://noscript.net/feed?c=200&t=a
As I write, the Feed shows rc2 but NOT rc3.

NoScript 2.6.9.17rc2 is not updating to NoScript 2.6.9.18rc1
Using the 'normal method', the UI in Firefox, is not working. In "about:addons", "Extensions" Tab, use the 'cog wheel' to "Check for Updates". Expected results: The Add-on (AKA Extension) should update. In this case, NoScript 2.6.9.17rc2 should update to NoScript 2.6.9....
